Avoir helps create showstopping family home for Channel 4

If, like us, you were glued to your television screen come Thursday evenings in November, you may have spotted our Avoir range on Channel 4’s Ugly House to Lovely House.

In what was a dramatic series finale, TV presenter and architect George Clarke met with a couple hoping to overhaul their bungalow for a budget of £45,000.

Enlisting the help of architect Carl Turner, every room was radically revamped to reveal a truly unique space.

Homeowner Darren, who, despite being disabled, completed much of the build himself. In the bathroom, he was keen to include a showstopping feature wall.

In response, we donated hexagonal tiles from our Avoir range to enable an ombre effect to be created across the entire space. The results are simply stunning.

If you missed the show, you can catch up on iPlayer here. Thanks to Amazing Productions for the images.
