Brics is a floor and wall tile available in one slim 250 x 60mm format.  A traditional brick bond is the most popular format but herringbone, or mixing different coloured bricks together are just some creative layout options it can offer. Great for traditional tiled spaces such as the kitchen, Brics is also perfect for living spaces and commercial areas such as restaurants or the classic coffee house look. Easy to clean and maintain, these tiles will work in any space.

We’re delighted to share images of the new range, and also to reveal some of the behind-the-scenes mood boards and inspirations behind this look.

Striking feature walls can be created using different shades — the colours of the bricks vary depending on the natural clay used to produce them, creating sandy tones of beige, slate grey and deep iconic red.

The practicalities of exposed brickwork however, leave a lot to be desired. Crumbling sands and complicated structures can make it an impossible design option for many spaces.

Replication tiling offers the perfect solution, and Johnson Tiles has just released the most advanced product on the market. Using new technology combined with traditional techniques, Brics recreates the look of exposed brickwork perfectly by offering variety of detail in each individual tile, resulting in an authentic overall finish.

This week we’re shining a spotlight on our brand new range Brics, a new addition to our Absolute collection.

The exposed brick trend came about in cities such as New York, when factory and workspaces were first converted into homes and these charming original features were used to highlight the industrial setting. The look has endured as a popular way to bring modern edge and character into interiors and is now seen in urban areas all over the world.
