Spectacular photos of our Carousel Wall at The London Design Festival

Carousel Wall will be on display until 31 January 2015. It has been unveiled as part of The London Design Festival 2014, which runs until 21 September. Keep an eye on our blog for more inspiration and images from the festival.

The installation, entitled Carousel Wall, is a collaboration between London-based print and design studio David David and Johnson Tiles. The tiled displays covering two walls of the tunnel represent an interpretation of traditional Islamic geometrics and modern British production, with the design based on an adaptation of Carousel (2011), the Jameel Prize-nominated artwork by David David co-founder David Saunders.

These stunning images show the dazzling ceramic display that is greeting visitors to the Victoria and Albert Museum during The London Design Festival.

The walls to the Museum’s tunnel entrance have been covered in bold geometric shapes and bright shades, created using more than 1,700 tiles manufactured and printed in our main factory right here in Stoke-on-Trent.
