Showcasing only the most innovative brands and design houses from across the globe, Salone del Mobile has earned a reputation for being a must-visit event for anyone in creative practice. With this year’s theme being Workplace 3.0, exhibitors are invited to explore the future of workspace design, and employee wellbeing. Here we pick out our highlights:

Salone del Mobile

With more than 200 exhibitors showcasing new and exciting products and trends, from decorative objects and ornaments to fabrics and accessories, the main show should be your main port of call before branching off into the three nearby Design Districts of Milan.

Must-see products and installations this year include Studio Swine – creators of the Sea Chair project in 2011, Caccaro’s Brick Collection of furniture designed by Simone Cagnazzo and Todd Bracher’s RE: CHARGE café concept.

Thanks to a collaboration between IKEA and Tom Dixon, the design rumour mill has been whirring with murmurs of a “hackable” sofa launch, so watch this space. And in the lighting arena, UK favourite Lee Broom will celebrate the company’s 10^th anniversary, so expect something special there.
