Architectural City Guide: Manchester

Following on from our popular Architectural City Guide to Birmingham, our Design Team turns its attention to the northern city of Manchester. Often considered the capital of the north, the industrial city is a thriving metropolis of culture – perfect for gaining creative inspiration.

This month, our designer Maria Swain visited the city of Manchester, to discover its mixture of gothic and contemporary architecture. From the reflective beauty of the Beetham Tower, to the Victorian, neo-gothic Manchester Town Hall, and the many reminders of the city’s industrial past in between, we continue our Architectural City Guide series.
