Porcelain Tiles |
Porcelain tiles are an extremely durable ceramic tile. During the manufacturing process a porcelain tile is pressed harder and fired at a higher temperature to give it a very low water absorption rate of 0.5%. This low rate means it is suitable for more applications than a standard ceramic tile. Porcelain tiles are frost resistant and as such can be used externally. All porcelain tiles can be used for external wall tiling (External Cladding). Dependant on the tiles surface finish and slip resistant properties some porcelain tiles can be used for external floor tiling. Johnson Tiles has an extensive range of porcelain tiles available in a variety of colours, sizes and finishes. The more popular ranges are Elements and Kerastar which include Elements Sediments Gritted and Kerastar Discface which are suitable for external floor tiling. The Architectural range of gloss glazed porcelain is suitable for use in swimming pools and external cladding. We do have a range of made to order porcelain tiles called Absolute which contains a tiles suitable for any application you can dream of. Sizes vary from mosaics to large sizes of 1200x600mm.
