Colour Play at Clerkenwell Design Week 2014 with artist Ptolemy Mann

Featuring on-trend neutral and accent colours, complementing the existing core bestselling shades (see images below), the range will give specifiers and consumers the choice of 68 different gloss and matt shades with co-ordinating fittings. Hexagon shapes are for the first time being added to the Prismatics range, designed to work in creative harmony with its standard tiles.

Darren Clanford, Creative Director at Johnson Tiles, said: “We expect our mural to be one of the hottest and most-photographed exhibits at this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week. We always aim to do something spectacular, inspiring and exciting and this mural will be no exception.

“Ptolemy Mann is the perfect partner to bring our new collection to life, she has a unique vision and innate talent when it comes to working with colour, visitors will be immersed and surrounded by our must-see mural as soon as they arrive at the building. It’s a really special way to demonstrate not only our range of colours and shades, but the versatility and endless creativity Prismatics offers.”

A show-stopping spectrum of never-before-seen shades will add colour to Clerkenwell Design Week (20-22 May 2014) as Johnson Tiles is set to showcase its new Prismatics range of plain colour wall tiles with a giant three-wall mural.

Designed by artist and colour consultant Ptolemy Mann, who specialises in producing public art and textiles with a focus on expression in colour, the mural will adorn the ‘cowshed’ entrance to the Farmiloe Building in St John Street, covering three of its walls in a riot of shades from the newly-launched Prismatics collection.
