Design Team: Three schemes inspired by Greenery, Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2017

This week, our Design Team is inspired by Greenery, Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2017 – reflecting our natural surroundings, and connecting us to life’s larger purpose.

Seventies Inspired

In a new approach to retro-inspired interiors, combining a bold palette, made up of primary colours and geometric, angular shapes, Greenery adds a contemporary spin on an iconic look.

Dark & Sophisticated

Pulling in materials inspired by the natural appearance of wood and stone, this theme idea suggests a more luxurious side to the fun and playful palette. Green is paired with black tiles in a gloss finish. Try Metis or Prismatics.

Fresh & Natural

Combining neutrals and whites, raw woods and soft tones, a highlight of Greenery creates a natural ambience in an urban environment. This fresh palette creates light and space, through the use of complementary tones of olive green and yellow.

The shade is set to make an impact on design in the coming year, and so we’ve put together three interior schemes that suggest ideas to utilise the calming green hue, regardless of your personal style.
